How many higher dimensions and what types?[edit]

Could someone say how many higher dimensions there may be? Apart from higher "spatial" dimensions (eg tesseract, 4-cube, 4-sphere, 5-cube etc. upto Hilbert space[infinite dimensions]), are there higher non-spatial dimensions? If so, what types? Does he speak about these in the book?Yottamaster (talk) 16:44, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I own this book. The dimensions discussed are spatial (plus the temporal dimension). Dimensions beyond the 3 spatial and 1 temporal are theoretical, existing in theoretical physics only. There's no actual proof of any of these additional dimensions. Incidentally, this sort of question is not really appropriate. Article talk pages are for addressing how to improve the article, not for discussing the subject. -- Scjessey (talk) 19:25, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
