Deleted[edit]

This page was once deleted. I'm not sure why. HyperStudio seems like a viable enough entry to wikipedia. I've given references to display that it's a product used by thousands and deserves some placement in the history of HyperMedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Robynmiller (talkcontribs) 18:51, 8 May 2008

The logs state content was: 'HyperStudio Wiki Currently under construction'. -- Trevj (talk) 09:09, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Minor Corrections[edit]

1. Clone: The article states HyperStudio was a "clone" of HyperCard. The bing.com dictionary defines clone as being "near copy of hardware or software". Since HyperCard was on Macintosh and HyperStudio was (originally) on the Apple IIgs, many believe HyperStudio was a duplicate of HyperCard. Although similar in execution the two were anything but identical.

2. Timeline: The article erroneously states HyperStudio "appeared only a few years after the release of HyperCard". HyperStudio released: 1988; HyperCard released 1987. By my calculations, this is one year as opposed to a few years. (See Wikipedia: HyperCard).
