Taxonomy: Troschel vs. Stimpson[edit]

The phrase "This family was originally named by........ between the Lithoglyphi and Ancyloti." appears to have been taken from Kabat & Hershler's "The Prosobranch Snail Family Hydrobiidae (Gastropoda: Rissooidea): Review of Classification and Supraspecific Taxa" (page 3), which was already referenced twice in this section of the article. The name there is Troschel, not Stimpson. And it seems to me that the phrase should either be quoted as is or left out altogether.
In the 2013 paper describing the new hydrobiid genus Karucia, Glöer and Pešić consider Troschel the family authority and so do Wilke et al. (2001), also referenced in the Taxonomy section of the article; however, Bouchet & Rocroi's 2005 Classification and Nomenclator of Gastropod Families, as well as most online databases (ITIS, Catalogue of Life, GBIF, WoRMS etc.), credit Stimpson with that. So the family authority in the taxobox can remain as it is, at least for now. XenoVon (talk) 09:54, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
