Old track gauge?[edit]

This article states an old gauge of 3 ft 8 1⁄2 in (1,130 mm). No online sources for this. This link states "The railway was built to the narrow gauge of three feet and one-half inches between rails based on second hand equipment purchased from the E.B. Eddy Company of Hull Quebec, consisting of two 1888 vintage H.K. Porter 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotives and two twelve-foot by five-foot four wheeled box cars". This link of the Huntsville and Lake of Bays Railway Society, of the provides the answer: After the original company ceased its activities the equipment was sold. After the formation of the Huntsville and Lake of Bays Railway Society the equipment was sold back.
