Photograph[edit]

Re the photographic portrait of Morrison in his book, there is a signature "Baird". This could well be for W. and G. Baird of Belfast. The "had a large general printing business and were major suppliers of process blocks for all kinds of purposes, but no names of its staff photographers survive earlier than the 1920s; even then they were obscure figures." From W. A. Maguire, A Century in Focus: Photography and Photographers in the North of Ireland, 1839-1939, p. 134. So basically no luck expected there.
