Needs plenty of work[edit]

For one think, the article enlists that she was "a famous actress" but there are only two selected films and one of them are lost films. Also, if she were famous, I would be sure that the article were to be at least one section longer. Looking at research, she apparently was pretty popular when she was around, but three sentences are not enough. Also like the heading says, the article needs more sources. You're absolutely right, Ug5151. Unfortunately Wikipedia's coverage of Chinese topics is very poor, and numerous famous people and important topics don't even have a page. I'll try to expand the article for Women's History Month. -Zanhe (talk) 18:55, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth[edit]

The Chinese Wikipedia quotes 23 March 1908. All the other language Wikipedias say 1907 (just the year). Is there a definitive source? Periglio (talk) 22:46, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Chinese wiki article is largely unsourced, so not sure where that date came from. Encyclopedia of China says she was born in 1908, but Encyclopedia of Chinese Film says 1907. The discrepancy could be caused by the common confusion of Chinese calendar dates with Western calendar ones. Neither source gives a definitive date. -Zanhe (talk) 18:51, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
