  • Lede could use a considerable trim.
  • "Swisher was the son of David Warner Swisher and his wife, Mary Katherine Bonnifield Swisher.[1][2][3][4]" -excessive sourcing, you don't need four citations for that.
  • Early life and education really has excessive sourcing, statements only need one citation usually, two at most. Certianly not four.
  • Why is Swiss German linked and not French?
  • Does public schools and southern and southwest USA really need linking?
  • "West Virginia Tri-Products Company." -what did the tri products refer to, was it a fruit and veg firm? Elaborate?
  • " to be compiled and authored.[1] Swisher compiled a collection of poetry and short stories, Briar Blossoms, which was published by his Acme Publishing Company in 1899.[12] Swisher was the editor of The Ghourki, a literary journal of poetry, short stories, and aphorisms.[3] Swisher" -"Swisher" repeated three times, "compiled" twice.
  • Works really would look better at the bottom of the article.
  • "Swisher was a member of the Morgantown Union Lodge No. 4 of the Free and Accepted Masons; Morgantown Lodge No. 411 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks; and was a member of the Morgantown Chamber of Commerce; the Kiwanis Club; the Country Club; and the Old Colony Club." -why the semi-colons?
  • Do you have access to Newspapers.com? I was wondering if it had any further sources which could be used to reinforce it♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:00, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • Dr. Blofeld, thank you for your comprehensive and thoughtful review. I've addressed each of your above concerns, so please take a look and let me know if you have any other suggestions or outstanding issues. I do not have access to newspapers.com, but do you know if Wikipedia has an arrangement with them? I've been considering getting an account regardless but have put off doing so. Let me know if you know of any preexisting arrangement, or else I just may bite the bullet and sign up for an account. Thanks again! -- Caponer (talk) 21:55, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Caponer Definitely apply for access, see Wikipedia:Newspapers.com. I'm pretty sure you'd find it very valuable long term. Look how much we gleaned for the 1893 Waldorf article for instance! Seems you did apply back in August! I'll take a look at this tomorrow, cheers.♦ Dr. Blofeld 23:12, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dr. Blofeld, I requested a free Newspapers.com account per your suggestion. Thank you again! I didn't realize that this was available to us. -- Caponer (talk) 17:04, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
