First endorsement[edit]

Actually that was Professor Milton Lower, who was elected Neighborhood Commissioner September 1975. The Caucus would go on to endorse in the Houston city election November 1975 and won several races. Scott Tillinghast, Houston TX (talk) 20:35, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Was the initialism 'GLBT' part of the Caucus' name in 1975 when it was founded or was that added later? From what I've read the recognition of 'T' didn't tend to happen until the 1990s so it seems strange. Is this a case like WWE where they talk as if they were always called that and avoid using 'World Wide Wrestling Federation' and similar even though that's what it was called when it started? Ranze - Ray Hill keeps adding his name because he's a liar and has worked very hard over the years to try to convince people that the LGBT community owes its very existence to him and him alone.
