Merge with War Hammer[edit]

This article seems to be a stub because there's simply not much that is worth writing about the subject; after all, the actual medieval men-at-arms didn't seem to have placed the "horseman's pick" or whatever into a different category from the warhammer, so I think this weapon should simply be treated as a common (i.e. not particularly distinctive) variant of the warhammer. I agree its basiclly a style of war hammer.86.45.91.49 (talk) 20:16, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Horsemans's hammer is a better name for this article. And if somebody knows enough ;-) about this "thing" it could be more than a stub. --Gruß Tom (talk) 22:07, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Like a farmers tool?[edit]

The phrase 'The horseman's pick was like a farmers tool' was added to this article as a sole modification, and without citing any sources or explaining further, by an unregistered user last January. I'm going to remove that now, KTHXBAI. If the phrase made some more sense, I'd just slam citation needed on it.81.202.46.50 (talk) 16:11, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Islamic origin ?[edit]

>Removed it, unless a citation can be given the horseman pick was not an islamic invention. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.167.222.161 (talk) 10:48, 17 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of sources ?[edit]

This article is over a decade old but has no sources? If no reliable sources can be found it should be removed. 64.228.218.165 (talk) 11:53, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This should be deleted[edit]

This article has no sources, and I can find none referencing this weapon. As far as I can tell this is a holdover from videogames and tabletop games, and that the "horseman's pick" never existed as a thing distinct from the war hammer. 142.166.152.166 (talk) 11:00, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
