Paint Your Wagon[edit]

In the 1969 western musical Paint Your Wagon, starring Clint Eastwood, a prospector named "Horace Tabor" appears in a prospecting town in California territory. Stick that in your little article.

That Horace Tabor says he's traveling from Worcester, Massachusetts and on his way back there. Not the same Horace Tabor.–CaroleHenson (talk) 02:29, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

People from Holland, Vermont[edit]

I am going to leave this category, but Vermont has a small number of people anyway and not that many were famous. So most of them indeed wound up in the Vermont category directly - 421 people for 347 or so towns. I realize that in New York or California or something, this would be impossible, but small categories perpetually run the risk of being deleted just for being too small. Holland, a typical example, is tiny and will never have more that a couple of entries. Student7 (talk)

Great point. I see that the category is now Category:People from Orleans County, Vermont.–CaroleHenson (talk) 02:31, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No Page for Baby Doe?[edit]

I'm very surprised that there's no page (unless I've overlooked it) for Tabor's very very famous wife, with her fascinating stories. Jamesdowallen (talk) 17:41, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. See the new article Baby Doe Tabor.Plazak (talk) 16:07, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is One Tabor Center named after him?[edit]

One Tabor Center is a skyscraper completed in Denver in 1984. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paco2718 (talkcontribs) 00:15, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Paco2718, Do you have a source that states that the building was named after Horace Tabor? I couldn't find one via google search or from newspapers.com.–CaroleHenson (talk) 02:35, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't. I asked the question :) I am curious why it is called the Tabor Center. I appreciate you looking into it. ~~~ Paco2718 (talk) 20:08, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
