It wasn't a glitch[edit]

It wasn't a glitch that caused Wayne, his brother and their wives to shrink. It was two pool balls. The pool balls were released while the machine was revving. I saw the movie myself.

Fair use rationale for Image:Honey we shrunk ourselves.jpg[edit]

Image:Honey we shrunk ourselves.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This was Rick Moranis' final live-action role before his subsequent retirement from acting.[edit]

Maybe this was the reason he quit. It was BAD! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.58.53.212 (talk) 06:15, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Quark[edit]

"...and Quark the dog has died of old age (as never discussed in the film)"
I've removed this line, since this constitutes Original Research. If we can't resist the urge to mention Quark's absence in this film in the lead section(I personally find it silly for people unfamiliar with the series to have to stumble upon a mention of Quark in the lead section), I would recommend we only mention what we have from viewing the film: Something like, "Quark the dog is absent from this movie." Feel free to make some variation of that statement, but don't speculate about his death or even mention it--that's Original Research. As an example, for all we know he could have run away. Hence we don't speculate or pretend we 'know' the reason for his absence in the film. Perhaps the real-life dog that portrays Quark had hip problems at the time. If that were the reason, without a Reliable Source, that wouldn't be inserted either. A one liner stating his absence would suffice, without any guessing why he's not in it. (If there's a strong urge to put anything in at all) Regards, 63.248.183.82 (talk) 20:07, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
