In response to the merge suggestion: However this term (Holy Shrine Defender) is related to Iranian involvement in the Syrian Civil War, but they are two different things! Holy Shrine Defender is the term which Iran uses widely for their soldiers in Iraq and Syria. Iranian involvement in the Syrian Civil War is a general explanations about Iran involvement in Syria, including their movements, etc. In addition as I mentioned before Holy Shrine Defenders are fighting in both Iraq and Syria not only Syria.

According to the above explanation, I think this page MUST NOT be merged.Freshman404Talk 05:38, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

They are really two different concepts. The Iranian involvement in the Syrian Civil War is a political decision and Holy Shrine Defender is called to specific military group. why should these two issues be merged?!Saff V. (talk) 08:14, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Article name[edit]

Is there any specific reason why the title of the article is singular rather than plural? All the sources seem to refer to the subject as "Holy Shrine Defenders." Laval (talk) 14:15, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
