Is large-scale gunfights really mandatory in Hitman: Codename 47 ?[edit]

Article states: "However, unlike later games in the series, violence is mandatory and there are several levels where getting into a large-scale gunfight against dozens of guards is inevitable. This is particularly true concerning a level that takes place in the Colombian jungle where the player battles South American drug soldiers, a group of levels criticized by many players as being inconsistent with the "stealthy" tone of the game." However, as far as I remember, it is possible to complete Columbia levels without killing every enemy in sight. Of course, some killing is unavoidable, but guards do not detect player before they are dead and other guards (the ones are left alive)are not alerted. In other words it is possible to complete theese levels without being shot at. Not that it is easy though ;)

--Abc64 (talk) 00:57, 23 December 2007 (UTC): What the article states about a large-scale gunfight being inevitable in the levels in Colombia is incorrect. Provided you have taken the sniper rifle in "Find the U'wa Tribe" level, it is entirely possible to complete "Say Hello To My Little Friend" having killed only 2 people (one being the target). Take a look here: [1] This should be amended in the article.[reply]

Some sort of new, high tech VR technology?[edit]

"Franz Fuchs, an Austrian terrorist, whether he is the real Franz Fuchs or based on him is unknown." What does this sentence mean? Do they not know weather 1.) they made a model of the guy and stuck it in the game or 2.) used some sort of new, high-tech VR[1] technology to beam him into the game. If that's what it means, I'm leaning towards the later. Sorry if I'm just really confused. It's probably really obvious in meaning and I'm just not getting it because I'm still sort of sleepy.

[1] It's not VR, but that's the closest I can come to remembering what it's called.

Reliable source?[edit]

Can HitmanHQ be used as reliable source?[1] I ask because of the interviews that might give insight into the game's development. D&C Washer (talk) 16:02, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How would it be if it was on a video game console.[edit]

Too bad it didn't come out on a video game console so here is what it looks like if it was on a video game console. (lists are default, remaster, and digital)

Nintendo 64, Nintendo GameCube (remastered), Nintendo Wii (digitally remastered), Sony Playstation, Sony Playstation 2 (remastered), Sony Playstation 3 (digitally remastered), Microsoft Xbox (remastered), Microsoft Xbox 360 (digitally remastered).

Unnecessary image[edit]

Per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Video_games/Article_guidelines#Screenshots, I see no reason to have a single image of Agent 47 standing in front of a Chinese restaurant. Images should be used to show something that cannot be explained by text. While an image of 47 using a garrot wire or changing into another outfit would make sense, this was a screenshot of the main character standing in front of a building. Nothing that can't be explained by text clearly. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 10:37, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
