Tone[edit]

There's a lot of great information in this article, but the way is written just seems too casual and informal. Examples:

"The World's Fair arguably reenergized the downtown of Seattle, and was generally a smashing success, even finishing with a profit."

Vague words such as "arguably" and informal language like "smashing" you generally want to avoid.

"After the war, the University of Washington also took a step forward, finally fulfilling the promise of its name." What does that part even mean? It seems like you're editorializing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.187.175.188 (talk) 07:45, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
