Radio procedure word "By / Bye"?[edit]

I can't seem to find a meaning or origin of the proword "By". In the context demonstrated on the show, I take it to mean "you've reached me" or "go ahead with your traffic", but the show itself seems to be the only surviving evidence for this. I in the real world have responded to a query like "A to B" with "This is B, go ahead". 10-4? - knoodelhed (talk) 06:04, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

“Citation needed” is unneeded[edit]

There are at least two places where "Citation needed" is applied to this article where it just isn't. The first is where the article lists train stations that appear in the show (self-evident): the other is when it notes that Crawford usually wears a suit and fedora. Again, self evident. Probably a few others, as well. Baldeagle57 (talk) 17:54, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
