'Mistress of Churchill' claim[edit]

She isn't even in the index of the Roy Jenkins biography of Churchill. CalJW 06:23, 7 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. The original claim appeared in a very scrappy contribution from some unregistered user. I think it's a mistake. I haven't exhausted Google's possibilities, but I can't find any reference to this. Also, he apparently held Hermione's mother, Pamela Plowden, in very high regard. Surely, for him to conduct an affair with the daughter of a women he had once proposed to would have been extremely scandalous? Not to say it couldn't happen, but I think we need a source. Therfore, I'm removing the claim that Hermione was 'former mistress of Winston Churchill' for the present, as well as the 'uncited sources' tag.
