Herb Phillips had an amazing career as jazz composer and arranger ... Milestones is legendary. This is a start article. Give me a few weeks to tighten it up and add references.(Eurodog 19:59, 12 September 2007 (UTC))[reply]

It should never have been speedied, since even in its current form it clearly and obviously asserts notability--even to a person like myself who is not a jazz fan. I strongly suspect it will pass the notability standard at AfD also, and I wonder a little at the speedy designation. Unreferenced is not a criterion for deletion, let alone speedy deletion.
