General comment[edit]

Hard to believe that a group of the magnitude of the Hep Stars could, with all those millions of so-called "ABBA fans" out there, only warrant a Wikipedia entry of this size and brevity. I do not have the immediate background knowledge to overhaul this article, but I am certainly aware of the Hep Stars' massive success in Sweden - outselling the Beatles in Sweden during their time together. It would be great if someone from the ABBA world, or even a Hep Stars fan from Sweden with a good deal of passion and background knowledge, could expand this article. --Pete3194 (talk) 01:57, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sarcasm[edit]

Removed sarcastic comment: "The resulting group soon faded into rock obscurity and no one knows whatever became of them," which while humorous, has no place in an encyclopedia. I've changed the line to read: "The resulting group soon exploded on the music scene as ABBA." -Hillbilly Profane

Sorry, Stig Anderson was not the manager for Hep Stars but for Hootenanny Singers.
