Sitting in a draught[edit]

A variant of the story:

It was said afterwards by his niece when she found herself sitting in a draught, that no Wyndham had ever closed a door since Hougoumont.

— Elizabeth Longford, Wellington: The Years of the Sword; Panther, 1971; p. 553

Longford gives no source for the anecdote. None is cited in the article for the anecdote about Wyndham himself. Clarification would be useful. Narky Blert (talk) 12:44, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
