citation for: was twice president of the Manchester Literary and Philosophical Society[edit]

The fact that he was twice president is mentioned in his entry in "Who's Who in Greater Manchester 1990-1991", published by the Manchester Literary & Philosophical Publications Ltd in 1990 ISBN 0-902428-11-X of which I have copy, I've not found it online to link to, though.
