Untitled[edit]

It can be demonstrated that a book was written by Henry Deasy on his travels in Tibet, because copies still exist. The comments on the importance of this person in the founding of Rools-Royce a plainly untrue. Rolls-Royce was found in May 1904, clearly pre-dating this. Henry Deasy serverd all links with the Deasy Motor Company in 1909 (before the arrival of Siddeley). The company that was taken forward by Siddeley and went through serveral merges, in the process becoming a highly respected motorcar & aircraft manufacture, before being bought by Rolls-Royce in 1965, by which time it was know as Bristol-Siddeley.

I have proposed the deletion for the following reasons. On further checking. It is clear that a person called Henry Deasy published a journal of his service time in Tibet. This on it's own does not appear to be notable enough to merit an enrty. The second claim, about Rolls-Royce, is simply untrue. The third claim, being a cousin of Agnes mary Clerke, is unverified & I can find no reference to the family relationship, despite this women being well documented.
