The author of the article must have some reason for omitting Du Mont's birth date, 1610, which Marcelle Benoit judged sufficiently reliable to include it in her Dictionnaire (Fayard, 1992). The 1610 date is given in the lead sentence at the very, very top of the article. Dumont doest come up on Grove online unless one uses the advanced search for Henry Du Mont; circa 1610 is given there, so there would seem to be a little uncertainty.
