Hi, I'm Azealia911 talk, I'll post a full review within a couple of days Azealia911 talk 08:11, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Azealia, thanks for taking up this review quickly. Recently there's been a lot going on in my life, and I'm pretty busy now. So feel free to take your time with the comments, as I probably won't be able to respond for a few days. Famous Hobo (talk) 00:19, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sure thing, I've made a few comments and saved them to a word document, I'll wait until I've made full and comprehensive review before posting. Best, Azealia911 talk 07:06, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lead[edit]

  • "song to reach the Billboard Hot 100 (89)" → "song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at 89,"
  • Billboard should be in italics.
 Done

Infobox[edit]

  • Cover art needs an alt
  • Citations generally do not appear in infoboxes, perhaps add a sentence about how the song is melodic hardcore in the Composition section, and move the citation there.
 Done

Composition[edit]

  • "According to the sheet music published at Musicnotes.com by Universal Music Publishing Group" can be reduced to just "According to the sheet music for the song," you don't need to justify the citation in the article.
 Done

Reception[edit]

  • Using 'said' when writing about peoples web reviews always strikes me as odd, because nobody said anything, they typed it. Try 'commented' or 'thought'.
 Done

Music video[edit]

  • There's no citation for the rather long description of the video.
  • "This was the first Rise Against music video to not feature any members of the band" needs citation.
Sadly, I can't find any source talking about what's in the video, other than it's the story of a family surviving Hurricane Katrina, so I can't put in a citation. But you are right about the length of the description, will shorten it. In regards to the band member's appearance, the citation I used only says they don't appear in the video, so I'll change it.
Fixed the second issue, just have to work on shortening the music video section, and we'll be done. Famous Hobo (talk) 15:06, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Famous Hobo only the shortening of the video description to go, then I can pass this happily. Azealia911 talk 09:49, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Done, my apologies for taking so long, I just had trouble shortening the section for some reason. While the citation I used for the music video doesn't mention the attic and rooftop scenes, I think it's okay. I mean, if you watch the video, it's pretty obvious it isn't original research. Personal and credits[edit]

  • Personal should be spelled Personnel
Whoops... Done

Charts[edit]

  • Is there a way of giving a more specific reference style? All but one of the listings links to a long page of achieved chart positions, have you considered using {{Singlechart}}?
  • Make the columns sortable
  • OCC should be expanded to the full title of Official Charts Company.
  • All instances of chart providers can be linked, just as they would if {{Singlechart}} template was used.
  • Per WP:USCHARTS if a song has entered the Rock Songs chart, the Alternative Songs and Mainstream Rock Songs charts cannot be listed, so remove them.
Done I changed all the charts to singlechart, except for the heatseekers, which isn't supported. I wasn't sure whether to include them or not, but they seem like a chart to leave in

Notes[edit]

  • Both notes need citations.
Sadly I can't find a reference for the first footnote, so it'll probably be classified as original research. However, I was able to find sources talking about how eleven workers died in the explosion, if that helps. Referenced the second footnote
Can you provide me the lyric which made you create the note? I generally feel OR is referenced too strictly, so unless the lyric is completely abstract and I can't see any possible way that the two can relate, it should be ok Azealia911 talk
Done The lyrics are "5,000 feet below, as black smoke engulfs the sky, the ocean floor explodes, eleven mothers cry". This is an obvious reference to the Deepwater Horizon explosion, and here's an article from CNN talking about the eleven workers who died on the explosion, which in turn. [1]. So the eleven mothers line is a pretty obvious reference to this. As for the second reference, I found a way around it, as you'll see. Famous Hobo (talk) 15:03, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

  • {{Reflist}} → {{Reflist|30em}} it's more browser friendly.
  • #15 – Unlink NME
 Done

Status
  • On-hold for two weeks, while comments are addressed. Azealia911 talk 08:31, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've expanded the usual on-hold length due to your above comment about being busy off-wiki, if you need even more time, just let me know
So apparently the thing I thought would take awhile only took a day, so I'll be able to address the issues much sooner now. In regards to the issues, I'll address the one's I've fixed with a  Done, and the one's I'm working on with a checkY. I'll have everything done tomorrow, as it's pretty late out here. BTW, this may seem like a stupid question, but for the Rolling Stone review, is the reviewer praising or criticizing the song? At first I read it as a positive comment, but now I'm a little unsure. Famous Hobo (talk) 05:56, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
As for the Rolling Stone ref, "fist-pump in the face of doom" seems somewhat positive to me. Let me know when you've addressed everything. Azealia911 talk 20:27, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Famous Hobo (talk) 18:28, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
