  • ... that Helen Dettweiler cofounded the LPGA, was a cryptographer and B-17 pilot during World War II, and was the first woman to broadcast a baseball game?
    • ALT1:... that ...? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)

5x expanded by Muboshgu (talk). Self-nominated at 21:48, 3 February 2021 (UTC).[reply]

  • Hi, Muboshgu. Can you please provide the sources for the hook (particularly the LPGA info)? This, along with some other factual information, is not referenced within the article. I think your DYK entry is interesting and I am looking forward to reviewing it. Thank you. Darwin Naz (talk) 10:51, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Edit: I already found the references to the LPGA and the other facts in your hook. Although they are not cited here in your template, they are cited in the article. However, can you reference some parts there (e.g. friendship with Griffiths, how her interest in baseball broadcasting led her to McDonald). Thanks. Darwin Naz (talk) 11:47, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Darwin Naz, all is contained in this source. These citations [1][2] contain information on her relationship with Clark Griffith. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:45, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Expanded at least 5x on the day of the nomination, long enough, neutral and supported by good sources. No copyright infringement (see Earwig). Hook, though not sourced here, is referenced in the article. QPQ done. Darwin Naz (talk) 22:57, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
