Untitled[edit]

Seems this is ready to be upgraded from "Stub". If anybody agrees, I would be happy for them to implement the change. 209.30.183.160 (talk) 16:53, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

American Baptist as a category I am concerned about the change in category, possibly too mechanically done. The term "American Baptist" can also be understood in a narrower sense than nationality. Helen Barrett Montgomery was president of what became the American Baptist Churches.

Check to see if there is category for this - may be too narrow. The text identifies the proper name of the denomination.Parkwells (talk) 19:21, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lead and content[edit]

Added to Lead and Content of article to emphasize her ground-breaking roles and influence; converted money raised and bequest into 2010 dollars; provided more context; added more cites from Further Reading; added more urls for sources, to make it easier for readers to follow up.Parkwells (talk) 19:21, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dad's name?[edit]

The article calls her father Amos, but the sidebar says Adoniram, which given his middle name is probably more plausible. But which is it really? --Haruo (talk) 11:53, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
