Unconfirmed gossip and rumour falsely presented as fact[edit]

People have been putting in and taking out content in the personal life section of this article talking about the subject's dating history. This has been going on even as far back as the now-deleted 2007 version of the article, with multiple editors challenging this for inaccuracy (just some of the challenges above). The content has been variously sourced to:

An interview with one of the parties where he tells the interviewer that he refuses to discuss his personal life.
A "link-ups in Kollywood" article that uses the usual journalistic get-outs of "reportedly" and "apparently" and makes no directly confirming statement.
A report of a "no comment" response and the supposed information attributed to "so says a gossip".

This is unacceptable sourcing, and no responsible editor should be mis-representing things, that the sources themselves carefully weasel out of actually saying, as if they were fact.
