Was he really autonomus?[edit]

Mausolus, Hecatomnus's son was something of an independent ruler de facto but this is not really true, as far as I know, of his father. The sentence in the lead of the article seems to backdate Mausolus's political stature to Hecatomnus. Therefore, I am going to boldly delete it. Bazuz (talk) 09:25, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
