I am rather uneasy about the sentence: "She made her name as the youngest council chief in the country". The sole source for this is the BBC, which is not always the paragon of accuracy that might be imagined. Is there any other source that could be used in support? The phrase "in the country" (taken from the BBC) is a bit sloppy - are we talking about the UK or just England? The woman herself would probably prefer to be regarded as "making her name" for an actual achievement (perhaps at Lambeth) rather than succeeding to the leadership of a council not previously notable for outstanding leadership. In any case, isn't the sentence verging on the hagiographic? A simple: "She became the youngest..." would be more neutral.
