An introduction to the aims of the AHF in their own words:

Our future & people

The purpose of the AHF today is to be an institution for the development and reconstruction of our integral culture(1). This means that we seek to re-unite our peoples historical and inherited morals and ethics with the current development of our world. The problem, as we see it, is that we are loosing [sic] whatever we had of identity to the ever increasing cultural hegemony of the pop-culture, a phenomena that we regard as quite contra productive and devastating for the worlds cultural heritage. With some success, the task for saving inherited culture is carried out in other parts of the world, but it does require devotion and interest.

Our goal — to try to influence the path of our culture — may seem an overwhelming task, but influential movements have existed before, and still do today, as for instance the movement against globalization; ATTAC.

As any new born movement has to do, we work close to the ground, on the grass root level of society. Our goals can only be reached by enlightenment, and it is those who are close to us we try to reach first. We are not a political organization with huge ambitions, but an honest voice, that lingers in the back of our minds, knowing that the morals and ethics of our ancestors have existed and developed into the form we know it, for many thousands of years — and that they cannot be up rooted in the space of 40 years without serious damage to the environment which surrounds us.

To be more specific, we advocate honorable and conscientious conduct as the path to a positive outcome. With pop-culture, this becomes less and less obvious. Then we draw closer to the core of our philosophy; namely the revival of our cultural identity(2). Some headwords on what this implies are:

• Participating in folk customs/festivities/traditions

• Studying our integral culture

• Spreading the knowledge of our integral culture

• Advocate environmentalism

• Arrange festivities and festivals as according to tradition

• Arrange lectures or seminars with our area of interest in centre

• Make previous knowledge (in our area of interest) more accessible to the public

Do you identify yourself [sic] with our mindset and mission? We need your help in order to accomplish our goals. Join us today!

Notes: 1. For a good covered definition of the term integral culture see: Flowers, Stephen Edred. (2002). The Idea of Integral Culture : A Model for a Revolt Against the Modern World. Tyr, 1, (1), 11-21. 2. We only advocate the positive aspects of course. We do not wish to return to an uneducated and barbaric culture, like churchgoing, a double set of morals [a result of this faith], ritual drowning etc.'

Varg Vikernes[edit]

Varg Vikernes was only a member of the NHF, not founder or leader. He stated in an interview:

"The NHF was persecuted in Norway, by the Antifa/Monitor, who repeatedly wrote that the NHF was neo-Nazi and that leader was Varg Vikernes, and so forth. Even when the NHF told them that Varg Vikernes is not the leader of the NHF or the AHF they just kept on about it. Even the secret police claimed adamantly that I was the leader of the NHF when they interviewed one of the NHF guys (as he tried to get a license to own a 10mm H&K pistol of some sort). He told them I wasn't the leader, but they just ignored him and trusted their own sources instead."

Source #4[edit]

Where in EHF's FAQ does it say that the entire AHF is defunct? Jack Daw 17:37, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merged material from Odalism[edit]

Ok, the merge proposal has been there long enough. It would probably have been easier to simply delete the Odalism article because it totally lacked sources anyway. I checked a few more sources - the only one that there is on Odalism is the article on www.burzum.org. Consequently I merged it here. If you have ANY sources on Odalism (I don't care how obscure the publication is) please bring them forward. Zara1709 (talk) 14:56, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just in case: Some more debate can be found at Talk:Odalism. Zara1709 (talk) 14:57, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[Category:Organisations based in Germany][edit]

Hi there. I have removed the [Category:Organisations based in Germany]. It was not mentioned in the article and sourced. Greetings. Sebastian scha. (talk) 15:41, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

BIG difference between folkish and racist[edit]

The Heathen Front were a racist neo-nazi organization not folkish, so don't try to pull this bullshit in regards to what they were really about.JanderVK (talk) 16:28, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

They never claimed such. They banned members from their forums for speaking in blatant anti-semitism etc. I remember the moderators there from the late '90s. 70.59.140.179 (talk) 06:10, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vargsmål[edit]

It is clear from many sources that Vargsmål is factually a racist and antisemitic work. The Gardell source, as one example, describes it as a "national socialist/heathen manifesto". National Socialism is Nazism. They are the same thing. It is also very clear from sources than Heathen Front is a neo-Nazi organization. Even a perfunctory look at sources supports this. Presenting this as somehow subjective is WP:SOAP, as it is downplaying a direct description supported by reliable academic works in favor of euphemisms. Wikipedia isn't a platform for promotion, so this needs to be explained in simple language, not evasive WP:WEASEL words. Grayfell (talk) 23:04, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
