Modern Day Central States Wrestling[edit]

As some of you may have noticed I've removed all but a reference to the new millenium version of Central States Wrestling from this article. For a number of reasons but mainly because the new promotion and the old promotion are not related other than in name, they should be seperate articles because they have seperate WP:Notability and Verifiability requirements. The name of the article is "Heart of America Sports Attractions" after all.

For those who have a problem with the removal of the current version of the CSW I say this - start a seperate article then, all the text is found by using the history tab for this project and thus accessibile. MPJ-DK 07:12, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where do people get these lies? First, Jim Crockett Jr. did not buy the Central States promotion from Bob Geigel. He leased the promotion and when Crockett stopped promoting in the area in February 1987, he left Geigel to pay all the bills. Also, WWE does not own any such video library as it's doubtful any such library exists. It's very doubtful Geigel kept any video. Foundation date problem[edit]

Right now the link for Midwest Wrestling Association redirects to this article, and gives readers the impression that the MWA was created in 1948 based on the template on the upper right. This can't be correct, because the MWA World Heavyweight Championship was active in 1940. I think more detail is in order. We need to establish when each name was created. It seems like 1948 may be the date which the entities merged, and that we require earlier dates for the establishment times of the smaller entities pre-merger.
