Dates of birth and death[edit]

The various references differ over both his date of birth and death, as follows:

  • "The Alphabet of the Saints" [1]gives his date of birth as April 1878, and death as 1950.
  • www.allfootballers.com gives the date of birth as 26 October 1877 and death as 1950
  • www.englandstats.com [1] gives his date of birth as 26 October 1877
  • www.englandfootballonline [2] gives his date of birth as April 1878 and death as 1950
  • www.englandfc.com [3] simply says "Born in 1877 - exact date unknown"
  • The article on Bangor City managers at [4] gives the date of birth as 26th October 1877 and death as 12th September 1942

At present the aricle has gone with the latter dates.
