This school sounds like Utopia- hardly believable. Please remove all of the ridiculous bragging.

However, this school has a downside to its academic success. It is filled with spoiled rich young teenagers who have no morals(ex.the outbreak of herpes last year). Harrison also has a major drug related problem. A majority of the teens attending harrison high school have or do smoke pot. Also, only the kids of "big shots" in the community need try out for certain sports (soccer!). So, you better be president of the PTSA if your kid has no talent and wants to be on the soccer team or make a "sizable contribution" to the booster club. Another downside of Harrison is the lack of adequate text books, computers and sanitary restrooms. This problem probally exists due to the fact that all the money is spent on making sure the football team is superior to every school in the county.

Need to mention the Harrison Band, just recently recieved the Sudler award, only 52 schools have recieved this in the past. There is a Wiki on that award with a list of schools. Actually a list of all accomplishments should be shown.

School article guidelines, and the article clean up on September 4, 2013

I removed roughly 8000 characters of junk from this page today. I would highly suggest that any contributors to this page familiarize themselves with the school article guidelines.

Among other issues: We do not mention either non-notable students or faculty (exception:principals) in US high school articles. The only competitive achievements we mention (and then only with independent reference) are state and national championship teams. This includes athletics, band and academic competitions. We do not mention individual achievements at all. These achievements should be referenced to an independent source, such as the state athletic commission or a local newspaper.

Most of the chopping occurred in the band section. It was full of what we call WP:PEACOCK language, naming of individual students and faculty, mention of obscure things that would only be understood by people in the band (and possibly other high school bands in Georgia). Seriously, I spent six years in a band program in another state, and I could not understand much of the section. The whole list of shows performed was removed as totally unimportant to anyone except the people in your band. Do you think anyone reading this article in London would give a damn what you named your show in 1992? Answer:NO!!!! Keep in mind this article is on the school, not the band, and the intended audience is not the school or the school's community, but the entire English speaking world.

Even if some of the removed content was within guidelines (which it wasn't), it would still be WP:UNDUE to devote that much of the article to one activity. Also, does the school not have a vocal music program? Why is it not mentioned? Does it have a drama program? Competitive speech or debate? Academic teams?

Before replacing any of the removed content, it would behoove you to come here and discuss it. Gtwfan52 (talk) 04:14, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

Next time please tell us which player and reference you are referring to. Assuming you mean Brian Rogers (baseball) and his Baseball Reference,com ref, the answer is right in the request for a better source.
