Please allow an article to be entered for Harden Furniture. You currently allow articles for retail companies such as American Signature and Raymour and Flanigan. Harden is the oldest family owned and operated furniture manufacturer in the United States. They are a significant part of our country's industrial history and a true symbol of Americana.

That's all hearsay, unless you can provide reliable sources as required. Please see notability for companies rules and Business FAQ. Your stated reason above is meaningless in this context. -- Alexf(talk) 16:16, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Status and Advice[edit]

As reviewing admin, I think this claims at least some importance, so not appropriate for speedy deletion. But the article absolutely must have more information in particular it needs references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. These should be available, if you're a historic company. We also need some information on current status, such as volume of business. I advise you to do this very quickly, before the article gets nominated for deletion by a regular deletion process. DGG ( talk ) 17:11, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the advice, I will gather the required information promptly. For starters, here is one source that may help, and was not inititated by a press release or within the company. Also, is there a way to edit the article header to read "Harden Furniture", with Furniture being capitalized?
