Comment: @Robert McClenon: I'm not seeing the connection with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anybot's algae articles. Eleven years ago, some crazed bot created a bogus article about this. Why is that a problem with the current draft, which looks perfectly reasonable to me. -- RoySmith (talk) 15:22, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You and I are now seeing a different draft than I was. I was unable to assess the previous version of the draft because it had no links to other articles, and so I couldn't look at the other articles and see whether it made any sense. As it was, it could have been a reasonable draft, or a lumping together of technical terms, and we sometimes get those. So I couldn't tell whether it was a real draft or a Sokal affair type hoax, and the history with the crazed bot was just one more thing. The fact that some of the taxons are red links also made me wonder whether they had been invented, or whether it is really about a form of life that is incertae sedis and nulii regni, of no kingdom. So I declined it, saying that it needs links. It appears that it really is about a form of life that is of very uncertain placement. Now that it has links, you or I can evaluate it.
