Orphaned references in Hanukkah in television[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Hanukkah in television's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 21:15, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hanukkah in televisionHanukkah by medium – Not sure how notable this article actually is, but assuming it is, it should probably be WP:CONSISTENT with Christmas by medium. Gonnym (talk) 09:53, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Against, I appreciate your suggestion. The article is notable, however I believe it should remain titled the way it is, as it differs from the Christmas by medium article. I am adding a section about the criticism of the relative lack of Hanukkah films compared to Christmas films, and that will take up a large amount of the article. So I think it would be more confusing if the name is changed and I have this section about the lack of Hanukkah films relative to Christmas films.Yallayallaletsgo (talk) 14:48, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
How exactly will it be different than the Christmas one? There are hundred if not thousand if Christmas films, yet only a fraction of Hanukkah ones. Both "articles" you've created so far are exactly the same, except for trivial links to other genres which have no contextual purpose other then for creating links. You're WP:FORKING content by copying the lead sections of other films/TV series and their infobox, without giving attribution and without purpose. As I've shown in my merge, both articles can be in the same article as you basically have no real information other than WP:OR. --Gonnym (talk) 15:00, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose move for now, as it changes the WP:SCOPE of the article. Right now, the article makes no mention of theatrical films (and certainly doesn't mention radio!). If the article is expanded to include theatrical films, the article can be moved then. --IJBall (contribstalk) 17:16, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Now, a good case can be made that Hanukkah film should be moved to Hanukkah in film, so the articles are complementary titled. --IJBall (contribstalk) 17:19, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Did you miss the edit I made which was reverted which did mention film? There is nothing notable about a hanukkah TV series genre (as can be seen by the lack of content and sources). This article can only work if its scope is similar to the much more notable Christmas one. Gonnym (talk) 19:09, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
There are a few Hanukkah TV movies (and will likely soon be more, as per Hallmark Channel), and there have been Hanukkah-themed episodes of TV series. This may be too thin to justify a standalone article, but we should give the editor(s) time to show whether this is notable topic or not... If ends up not being, then the content here can be merged into Hanukkah film, which then itself can be moved to Hanukkah by medium. --IJBall (contribstalk) 19:39, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
