Empire begins with 'E'[edit]

I was wondering how HRR could stand for Holy Roman Empire, when Empire begins with an 'E'. Should it perhaps say republic, or does it stand for a Latin name?--The Spith 14:48, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
