I just published the initial article for HMS Rorqual. Comments:

  • This article should really be written in British, not American, English. I don't normally use British English -- someone please convert it. Thanks!
  • About the only material I could find on the boat's operating history were some negative incidents from Greenpeace and the USS Endurance collision enquiry -- I'd love to see someone add some additional material.
  • The article needs the dates for the table on the right side (launch date, commissioning date, etc.)
  • There was an earlier HMS Rorqual (S01) that compiled quite a distinguished record in World War II. No article exists yet for either that submarine or the "Grampus" class in general.
  • There needs to be a disambiguation page for the two ships of this name and the whale of the same name.
  • When I created this article, I followed a link from another page to the unwritten article HMS Rorqual(S02). I went ahead and filled in the page. I learned later that this page should have been named HMS Rorqual (S02) (no space after Rorqual) per the Royal Navy naming convention. I'm unclear how to change an article name. If someone can do this, I'd appreciate it. Also, that would result in some links in other articles that need updating:
