Counting ships[edit]

The article says "Eight ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Ajax after the Greek hero Ajax".

Then 10 vessels by that name are listed. The 9th is a barge, the 10 a possible name of a submarine. Are these not being counted in the 8?
