Untitled[edit]

This looks to be a duplicate of H.R. (singer) the two pages should be merged but the information seems somewhat conflicting and I don't know anything about the subject (found this page from wikify). Rissole 07:37, 1 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I believe I read HR's actual name somewhere and HR was his initials... I guess Human Rights was just the name of a solo record then? Can someone fix this...?

H.R. means Hunting Rod. This info is given on I & I Survived -dubalbum's cover. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.23.117.69 (talk) 12:31, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

News From Jeff Calhoun, Contracted Manager HR, Record Company, Misuse by Wikpedia[edit]

Hello Wikipedia,

I am the contracted manager of Paul Hudson. The page by Wikipedia was first done as a serious disinformation when our exlusive recording artist Paul Hudson and his music was illegally released in 2007. We developed to do the album that was sitting with the Beastie Boys fellow for many years and there is of course pending litigation of over ten md against Red Distribution. The point is that Wikipedia became a vehicle for contractual support of a company stealing from us. I have known HR for many many years, have two management agreements as his Exclusive personal manager, and listed with PollStar as such. I think the articles would be better if focusing on Ron St. Germain and others of critical importance instead of being filled with rather not relevent information. I am also Paul Hudson Biographer, and have the signed copyright form with him for his Autobiography Love I. Any films by Small Axe etc will get the axe and injunctions against them prohibing their release per law. I remember when that fellow from the film Americna Hardcore came to our apartment in Los Feliz, then illegal used the piece in their film which we still have to have removed on Sony Distribution, for he refused to pay HR or anyone and didn't order a veggie pizza for him. Paul Hudson is my friend as well, and when he is not feeling well I dont like to see odd internet interviews showing him at a concert wearing a helmet. Paul Hudson is one of the brightest and most deep thinking individuals if you know him, and when he is healthy. The problem is that when he is not, there is nobody in law to assist recovery for him in that way, and then all the fans show up and say stay at our house, oh thats the way he is, and then they in greed get in the way of his wellbeing. I quote his mother who prefers he not sing at all, for good reason. She said "Paul was at Univeristy of Maryland to become a pediatric surgeon, he would of made a great peidatric surgeon, he loved children so. Gary Miller was the ruination of my son." Gary brought drugs. Say no, Dr. Know. We will be in contact in writing. Your page is primarily inaccurate as one person noted. Human Rights is what HR stands for, but he also used the name H - see Dr. Know why. I have extensive tapes with HR, and some audio wtih Earl and Daryl. The saddest thing was that the career packet for HR, his biography, and the retirement amounts for him and even the band (not anthony countey) was ready and then it got jumped and they lost. Anthony won. The biography and books are still going forward, and like I said we will shut down the rest for violation of our existent contracts in writing. Overall, my friend HR has not been himself in far too long and I and the others miss him. Paul Cornwell is one of the best people to speak of HR, and Kali D, and Alex, and Marco. While I sympathize with your concern for Paul Hudson's welfare, Wikipedia articles are not "by Wikipedia" but an aggregation of many edits by many editors, and aim to reliably inform the public of the facts related to a subject. The subject's own wishes are subsidiary to that purpose. I refer you to WP:AUTO#IFEXIST for further information on how subjects or their reps may properly influence articles. If there are individual facts in the article that you challenge, and they are not verifiable by reliable sources as per WP:V, they should be and will be removed. However this is not the place to air gripes, or make threats and slurs . Wwwhatsup (talk) 23:19, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Olive Tree[edit]

I have removed the following para from the article since it's been tagged for 2 years w/no response. Wwwhatsup (talk) 18:07, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Greg Ginn of Black Flag and SST Records purchased the defunct Olive Tree Records, acquiring the rights to many H.R. albums.[citation needed]

H.R.H.R. (musician) – Is the musician really the primary topic for this general abbreviation? * Pppery * it has begun... 18:17, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. Often known as "HR" in reliable sources, so WP:SMALLDETAILS doesn't work here. Not the primary topic either. 162 etc. (talk) 22:11, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. WP:SMALLDETAILS also doesn't work here because terms like Human resources can also be abbreviated as H.R.. BD2412 T 21:48, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
