Peacocks & unattributed quotes removed[edit]

I've removed heaps of flowery language and peacocking from the article (see MOS:PUFF). In doing so, I also removed the following reference (with context):

"There was always a line at the door, and nobody left the dance floor until daybreak." ^[1]

I'm no French expert, but I'm not seeing anyone at all quoted in the referenced article.

Speaking of quotes, this article has a whole lot of them and many are not clearly attributed. I've fixed some, but removed those that I couldn't reconcile and correct through the article's context (see WP:SUBSTANTIATE):

He liked to "break rhythms, surprise, innovated, dare, violate, even your ears."
"Steven Stanley and the legendary Francois Kevorkian contributed to the record with their outstanding Nassau mix. The record was first aired on French radio by D'bora and Bobby M, who were artists themselves and disc-jockeys on Canal 89, a local funk station in Paris." ^[2]
