Possible extirpation[edit]

The Bangkok Post recently reported on concerns that the bird may have become locally extinct in Thailand.[1] --Paul_012 (talk) 15:33, 7 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Out of date[edit]

I'm pretty sure the info on this page is way out of date: the Thai population is extinct now (or believed so) as the conservation efforts there failed. The populations in Burma are not secure either.
