Sources Needed![edit]

Please source songs before putting them on the article's page. If there's no source, it can't be proven. ie: "bon jovi bad medicine" anakin4me (talk) 02:27, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that you should source all the songs before posting them on the article. NerfGUNNER06(talk) 12:55, 28 September 2008

Chart Edit[edit]

In a recent interview in Nintendo Power magazine, it was confirmed that all songs will be master tracks. With that said, I think the "Master Recording?" Section should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.130.174.73 (talk) 06:07, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

90's songs[edit]

The website UGO supposedly has an exclusive scoop that the 90's tracks are: “No Rain” by Blind Melon, “Volcano Girls” by Veruca Salt, “Are You Gonna Go My Way” by Lenny Kravitz, “Buddy Holly” by Weezer, “Down” by Stone Temple Pilots. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.242.63.75 (talk) 01:44, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Chart Edit[edit]

If you can provide the source for the NP interview (if you have not already done so), then by all means feel free to remove the "Master Track?" column. Tubularbells1993 (talk) 18:00, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Full setlist annouced[edit]

Here. This source can be ref'd once (when introducing the setlist) and then each song can be listed without needing a reference. -- TRTX T / C 18:32, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Got it filled in for the basics. --MASEM 18:57, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

UK Version[edit]

hi, i live in the UK and my version of Guitar Hero on tour decades contradicts both set lists. info needed about this on here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by DarthRevan182 (talkcontribs) 21:21, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can you give a list (if possible, put it in your userspace)? Judging by the number of changes, there appear to be three setlists going around: NA, UK, and EU. --MASEM 21:42, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
i've added the tracklist for my game and edited the small paragraph to fit the new table —Preceding unsigned comment added by DarthRevan182 (talkcontribs) 12:11, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

Hmm, you seem to have been waiting a while- and by the dates on the GAN page, people have been skipping over this article. I think I know why too- this one's hard to judge. On one hand, it's short for a VG article, and only uses 12 sources. On the other hand... it's well written, covers most everything, and everything it doesn't cover it's because it would be a copypaste from the GH:OT article. It really is just like an expansion pack of more songs, isn't it? There's only so much you can say about it. I'm going to go ahead and pass it- it is comprehensive, as far as I can see, and all of the other criteria are in no question. Possible changes: maybe make the tracklist collapsible/collapsed- it seems a bit long to be hanging out there, though I know some people don't like collapsed tables. Also, the sentence "Decades received a lukewarm reception, citing many of the same issues in relation to the Guitar Grip and sound quality from the first game." is off- who's doing the citing? The subject of the sentence is Decades, but it's the reviews/reviewers that are citing the flaws. --PresN 17:16, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review; I caught that as well as one in the actual review section on who was citing what. With the tracklist, while I agree collapsible would possibly help, its inadvisable to use collapsed sections due to how it interoperates with printing and the like.
I may consider, depending on the rumored next game being "Modern Hits" which sounds like yet another expansion pack, reworking the set of articles, but I'll hold off until I know more. --MASEM 17:30, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
While it was passed, I must suggest that you increase the size of the reception section. There's much more that can be said. Also, have you considered a merge into GHOT? - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 21:16, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reception[edit]

This article really needs some more reception information, honestly. Also, have any of you considered a merge into GHOT? - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 22:30, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Before doing anything drastic, I want to see how Modern Hits will work out. If it's more of the same with song sharing, I can see a larger merge, one for the games, one for the soundtracks. --MASEM 23:18, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I was also going to suggest the latter merge if the former were completed. If we were to do this, would you suggest calling the soundtrack article "List of songs in the Guitar Hero: On Tour series"? - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 23:54, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That, or if it is "Guitar Hero: Modern Hits", the "List of songs in the Guitar Hero Nintendo DS games". However, given that the GH series is a Featured Topic, I don't want to rush into any article creation until it's time (though you're free to sandbox something for the future). --MASEM 00:50, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merging discussion[edit]

I propose a merge/reorganization of this article with the other On Tour games, as per here. Please comment further. --MASEM (t) 21:33, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
