Proposed merge with Wallatiri

Pages are duplicated because there is no consensus about the name that would be preferred. Jespinos (talk) 02:09, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

Wallatiri is Aymara. So far I know official documentation in Chile, where the volcano is located, uses the Spanish spelling Guallatiri. I suggest the articles to be named after the most common written form - which is Guallatiri. Dentren | Talk 14:55, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
Support using Guallatiri per WP:COMMONNAME as the vast majority of sources I know use that name, rather than the Aymara spelling. And I don't know of any other topic with that title, so it should be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Pinging @CaTi0604: though as they originally moved the article to "Wallatiri".Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 15:11, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
A merely procedural note: Based on the histories, Wallatiri has the original page history that was copy and paste moved into Guallatiri, Chile on the 1st of December 2012, so Wallatiri's page history is the more important one, attribution wise. Merely a technical note as to which history should end up in the final article - the other history should be preserved beneath a redirect.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 10:25, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
Support as per argument of Jo-Jo Eumerus. No question that the articles should be merged as they are virtually identical, the only argument is what name the merged article should be called, and I support "Guallatiri" – I'm sure this is the name used on all maps and articles about the volcano. • Makes sense, however an admin will need to delete the redirect at Guallatiri before moving "Wallatiri" (per Jo-Jo Eumerus above) to "Guallatiri" in order to complete this request. GenQuest "Talk to Me" 03:04, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

All versions of this article have now been moved here. You may like to check the history of Guallatiri, Chile for any useful revisons which could be merged into this one. Any problems please let me know — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 20:09, 28 December 2015 (UTC)

Forteana of Guallatiri

Wondering if this is a reliable source: Caesar Parra C; Parra Cifuentes Parra C. (2008). Fantasmas y casas embrujadas de Chile. RIL Editores. pp. 9–. ISBN 978-956-284-644-8. JoJo Eumerus mobile (main talk) 18:31, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

Another source w/o page number

This contains a reference to "Guallatire" which it calls the "principal mallku de la marka" but w/o mentioning any page number. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 09:41, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
