Gregs ties to PA[edit]

I have noticed that last night Greg knew alot about Allentown, and before he had mentioned diffrent little towns in NorthEast PA, which suprised my because I am from that area. So does anybody know what kind of ties he has to this area? NY mosque[edit]

Canadian Forces Controversy[edit]

I'm being less bold as this page has been semi-protected and this is a bit of a controversial topic right now. On March 22, 2009, Gutfeld issued an apology via Twitter. Being unclear on whether this is valid for inclusion, I've included the links: Flickr and Twitter. If there's no objection and I can't find a reason for not including, myself or someone else can add. Controversy sections are not uncommon for biographical articles and especially if the individual's actions receive international attention. In this case they did and I've restored the controversy section that was removed wholesale in 2014 without explanation, discussion, or summary. I do note that there was some imbalance to the sections and have reworded the Canadian apology section. In regards to WP:UNDUE/WP:WEIGHT, it's a commonly misquoted policy here on Wikipedia. It's a policy regarding minority viewpoints. WP:BALASPS does come into play here, but I think the event is significant in that it was widely covered, commented upon, and followed upon. The article is still not very long and more should be written about this person's career, but not at the cost of removing notable sections. Especially considering this comedian has built their entire career on making shocking statements. Arguably making it as more relevant to their career section than perhaps in most biographies. History of foot-in-mouth disease[edit]

Considering his history of flippant and insulting behaviour (i.e.: cracks about the Canadian armed forces, the gay bar at Ground Zero, Mariam al-Mansouri), and getting regularly into trouble for it, this article should include whatever the current approved Wikipedia wording is for "has a reputation for being something of a dick." Works for me too. He's definitely being paid to comedianise, after all. Then again, so once was Laura Ingraham, and by the same employer, at that But if one googles "gutfeld comedian" one gets this article... then twenty-odd hits saying things like "comedians appearing on his show", "comedians slam GG", etc. And then his facebook page. (I joke not, but someone surely should.) Elena Moussa Russian?[edit]

Statements about statuatory rape[edit]

Hi all! On May 23, Gutfeld ran a segment on his Fox News show which has picked up quite a lot of news coverage, primarily from left-leaning publications:

We know that the event happened, so there's no real concerns about reliability for the existence of this event. Additionally, the amount and depth of coverage strongly indicates that this is a relevant topic for inclusion.

The question is how to frame this in the controversy section. My initial thought is to use the MediaMatters, ComplexNetworks, and New Republic articles to add some prose about the details of the event, then maybe an in-line attrib and quote from one of the articles which would depict the controversy aspect. Is he antisemitic?[edit]

On July 25, 2023, on Fox News, Greg Gutfeld inferred that the millions of adults, children and elderly who perished in the holocaust, died because they were not skilled or useful. He expressed a deranged take-away from Viktor Frankl's "Man's Search For Meaning." His smug attitude about the holocaust as exhibited on that broadcast was bizarre and heartless. I don't know if he is anti-Semitic. However, his comments on 25 July 2023 in which he implied that the Holocaust had benefits for Jews were notable and generated substantial media attention. This included direct criticism by the Auschwitz Memorial[1], the White House[2] and Holocaust survivors.[3]
In the exchange, Gutfeld's co-host rhetorically asked whether the Holocaust had "some benefits for Jews." Gutfeld immediately implied the answer to that question was, "Yes," by citing the author Vik Frankl in a manner that the Auschwitz Memorial called an "oversimplification."[4]

In min 1:42 Tarlov makes the comment she is Jewish vs “Identify as Jewish”.
