This is the wrong way around, at least in the UK. It is the brownfield sites that have been 
redeveloped, greenfield sites and the green belt are as yet untouched or agricultural land. 
There's always a massive opposition to their development due to the destruction of the environment.

This is definitely not correct. Also, it does not correspond to the German Version of the Article. Needs to be corrected! S.Waldburger
