Editing for Russian class[edit]

Hello! I will be making some edits to this page as part of a project for my Russian literature class. I plan to rewrite the rusalki section and add some common traditions associated with Green Week. GreenwoodTree7 (talk) 21:45, 21 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Present vs past celebration[edit]

Hi, all. The initial summary of this article is in present tense while the rest is in past tense. I believe that is meant to reflect modern vs past ways of celebrating Green Week, but that is not made clear in the article. From a quick online search, it seems that this holiday is still being celebrated and birch trees are still significant, which means at least some of the content should be in present tense. Perhaps a better way of organizing the content would be "Modern observance," "Historical observance," "Association with rusalki," "Related observances." Happy to help, but wanted to check in before I began making major changes. Paridae5000 (talk) 15:51, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
