The Green Party of New Jersey subject clearly passes notability guidelines. There are 50 Republican, 50 Democrat, 25+ Green, etc. States affiliate articles, The issuse of weather political party state affiliate articles satisfies notability has long been established. Yes the article needs to be expanded, and it needs to be better referenced but it clearly meets notability so I am removing the notability tag. Highground79 05:37, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I removed the tag earlier, but User:Alansohn, who is a good editor, restored it, for reasons not clear. Wasted Time R 10:32, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So Namiba and Besined - what seems to be the problem that you two keep reverting each other? Me-123567-Me (talk) 01:17, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I put my toe in the water, hope it doesn't get bitten off! Jack N. Stock (talk) 01:49, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why other people are editing this page at all. The executive board of GPNJ received a message from an editor at Wikipedia telling us that the page was being considered for being merged into the GPUS page and asking us to update it. I am trying to do that, on behalf of GPNJ. While I have never edited a Wikipedia page before, I am an experienced writer, librarian, and webpage editor. If you don't believe that I have the authority or knowledge to update this page, feel free to contact the founders of the Green Party of New Jersey, Steve Welzer and Nick Mellis. I am friends with both of them, both on Facebook and in real life, and I am 100% sure they will vouch for me. So I would appreciate everyone backing off and letting me update this page. -Denise Brush, Secretary, GPNJ Besined (talk) 00:33, 31 January 2017 (UTC)besined[reply]

Have you read WP:COI and WP:OR? Jack N. Stock (talk) 00:50, 31 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I tend to be more relaxed towards WP:COI so long as WP:CITE and WP:OR are being met. Me-123567-Me (talk) 02:25, 31 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm happy to see someone else do the work, just wanted Besined to be aware. I'd like to see consistent and complete citations, so I hope that is next. Jack N. Stock (talk) 03:00, 31 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I finished my update and cleaned up the citations. I hope that the warning notices at the top of the page can be removed now. I will come back and edit this page in Dec 2017 after the election. Besined (talk) 03:28, 31 January 2017 (UTC)besined[reply]
