Goznak was?[edit]

Is the Goznak closed now? Who is printing the Russian money then? abakharev 23:29, 7 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Good point. I didn't even know it still existed under the same name :). I added its current website to the article. Someone knowledgeable has to right about its post-Soviet history. KNewman 02:58, September 8, 2005 (UTC)

Goznak is not a mint[edit]

We need to make some destinctions. Goznak is an agency under the Ministry of Finance, responsible for the production of coins and bank notes. Thus, Goznak is an agency administering the functioning of mints, it's not a mint itself. A mint is not an agency, it's a factory producing coins or bank notes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alfons Åberg (talkcontribs) 06:19, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A wrong link[edit]

There is a mistake in the article, but I'm not sure how to correct it: Ivan Orlov is mentioned in the text about Goznak, but when one clicks his name he sees an article about Ivan Efimovich Orlov. This is not the one who worked here. Actually, Ivan Ivanovich Orlov (1861 - 1928) was an inventor and worked at Goznak, but there is no article about him here yet. The link to Ivan Efimovich Orlov is wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tatyana U (talkcontribs) 20:38, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
