confirmation of commonly used given name[edit]

When he as bank manager was transferred from Sydney to Newcastle, news item uses Gollan as his commonly known name [1]

Second marriage in 1925 confirms him to be known as Gollan [2]

Shortly after his death a new manager of National Bank was appointed as replacement notice confirms that Addison was commonly known as Gollan [3]

Death notice of his second wife in 1976 confirms that he was known as Gollan [4]
