Not sure why this has an "unclear importance" tag on it. The merit of this article is that it's a popular website that is crossing over into other media (ie, TV). Yes, it's kind of frivolous, but it's fun, and many people read it. I don't think Paris Hilton has a whole lot of merit, but then again, that's just MY subjective opinion. And she gets an article, so..... NickBurns 02:54, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's been mentioned not just in the blogosphere but by dozens of mainstream media outlets, such as Newsweek, TIME, and Entertainment Weekly. It's also received international attention from the likes of the CBC and The Mirror (UK). GFY is almost the definition of notable under WP:WEB. It may be one of the ten most popular blogs, up there with Daily Kos. This is mainly because it pokes fun at people like Paris Hilton. --Charlene 22:12, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
